TECHNICAL WRITER
1-3 years experience
Our product sees continuous addition of features, new user interface elements, APIs, and new use cases. We communicate these to the world using product documentation, user guides, blogs, presentations etc. You will joining a startup environment where you will be required to take take ownership of documentation and content efforts.
Description
- Building a formal documentation process
- Working with developers, field engineers, and marketing to understand new features and assess documentation requirements
- Producing high quality documentation enriched with screenshots and clips
- Writing frequently updated blog content based on these features
- Proactively identifying lacuna in documentation and taking steps to fix those
- Producing PPTs to help with product marketing efforts
Skills
- Graduate degree with affinity for technology
- Excellent English writing and communication skills.
- 1-3 years experience required, if you have no experience we need some evidence of documentation written by you for open source projects.
- Ability to communicate ideas in simple, clear, and direct language
- Experience with documentation software, layouts, standard formats for user guides and such.
- Ability to listen to our technical team’s explanation of a feature and then converting it into documentation using simple English with screenshots and words.
- You will be leading this effort, we are looking for someone with a leadership mindset who can lay down documentation rules for developers and testing teams.

NETWORK SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
0-3 years experience
This is a rare opportunity to work on original foundation tech in a product focused company. This position requires knowledge of network protocols TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing technologies BGP,DNS, traffic monitoring systems like Netflow, SNMP and the like. You will be working on the latest core technologies in this domain. You will implement features to extract intelligence from these protocols with C/C++/LUA. You will also work on our cutting edge distributed real time streaming architecture framework. We look for candidates with exceptional attention to performance.
Description
You will:
- Join senior developers to ramp up on the platform
- Create new C/C++ baseline modules for Trisul Network Analytics
- Create new analyzers in the LUA programming language
- Enhance and develop tools to support our distributed custom database
- Able to create blog content explaining the feature you are working on
- Handle customer escalations, take packet capture dumps and analyze them using Wireshark and other tools
Skills
- Graduate degree
- 0-3 years experience required, if you have no experience we need some evidence of open source work contributions from you.
- Experience with open source or commercial Network Traffic monitoring or Network Security tools such as SNMP, Netflow.
- Very strong on C/C++/Linux. Multithreading, memory and CPU profiling, linux internals.
- Experience with Bash, Lua, Ruby scripting and ability to pick up any language on short notice.
- Expertise with TCP/IP , familiarily with routing protocols
- Familiarity with Network Security concepts.
- Working experience with SQL, Linux packaging
- Working closely with senior web development team and quickly learn the existing code base.
- Evaluating various tools and techniques for use by our system.

WEB APP DEVELOPER

Our product Trisul Network Analytics is a streaming network analytics platform with a rich front end user interface. We use the latest web development technologies to fetch data , process them, and present them to the user. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can work in a fast moving startup environment who can conceptualize, design and implement new user experiences. The candidate should also be able to demonstrate these features to our customers and partners.
Description
The individual would be
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Creating mock ups , conceptualizing demands from users into User Interfaces
- Creating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices with Javascript frameworks for richness
- Integrating data from our various backends with an eye on performance
- Evaluating various tools, libraries, and techniques for adoption
Skills
- Graduate degree
- 0-3 years experience required, if you have no experience we need some evidence of open source contributions from you.
- Experience with web development architectures, styles, idioms
- Strong on Ruby, Ruby-on-rails, JavaScript. Javascript UI frameworks
- CSS and HTML frameworks (Bootstrap, HAML, SASS, etc)
- Experience with Linux platform tools, bash scripting, startup scripts
- Working experience with SQL
- Ability to read API documentation and start implementing code
- Working closely with senior web development team and quickly learn the existing code base.
